VANCOUVER, B.C. — October 3, 2025 — We’re proud to share that Triple X.O.G. — the world’s first ready-to-drink cognac and green tea cocktail — has been featured on CBC News, following its national television debut on Dragons’ Den! 🎉

The co-founders, Felix Chen and Rudy Pham of Triple X.O.G. (dba Golden Triangle Beverage Company), were interviewed by Gloria Macarenko on CBC Radio’s On The Coast, live from the CBC Vancouver Headquarters. The feature spotlighted their inspiring entrepreneurial journey and the cultural roots behind the creation of Triple X.O.G.

During the interview, Felix and Rudy shared how Triple X.O.G. was inspired by a beloved cocktail that originated in Asian karaoke bars — a drink symbolizing friendship, celebration, and connection. Their goal? To take this cultural staple mainstream by blending French cognac, real jasmine green tea, and Canadian honey into a premium, lightly carbonated, ready-to-drink cocktail.
“We wanted to create something that feels familiar yet elevated,” said Felix Chen. “It’s about taking a cultural classic and giving it the recognition it deserves.”
“Triple X.O.G. represents our story — East meets West, tradition meets innovation,” added Rudy Pham. “It’s a drink that brings people together.”
Their pitch on CBC’s Dragons’ Den (Season 20, Episode 2) earned multiple offers from the Dragons and ultimately a deal with Manjit Minhas, co-founder and CEO of Minhas Breweries. The episode showcased not just the product, but the passion, creativity, and cultural pride behind the brand.

Since its launch, Triple X.O.G. has seen tremendous growth — now available in over 100 retail and hospitality locations across British Columbia and Alberta, with expansion plans underway across Canada.

The full episode is now streaming for free on CBC Gem.
